About the role

Alpha Car Hire has a casual Customer Experience Representative opportunity at our Mascot, Sydney location. You will be responsible for attending to customers hire vehicle requirements ensuring our customers receive quality service and an experience they would repeat, share, or recommend. The successful candidate will be rewarded with an hourly rate of range $30.91-$31.61 per hour plus applicable penalties commensurate with knowledge, skills and experience and superannuation according to the Super Guarantee

Your role and responsibilities:

  • Providing outstanding customer service by understanding and anticipating their needs
  • Opening and closing rental agreements
  • Selling additional over the counter rental products
  • Managing reservations
  • Conditioning returned vehicles
  • Checking for and recording vehicle damage
  • Driving and ferrying vehicles
  • General branch cleaning duties

About the role

We are looking for a Business Manager to join our Operations team at our new flagship Eagle Farm, Brisbane location. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day branch operations including supervision and management of staff, ensuring our customers, internal and external stakeholders receive quality service and an experience they would repeat, share, and recommend. The successful candidate will be rewarded with on-target earnings of $110k per year commensurate with knowledge, skills, experience and performance plus Superannuation.

Your role and responsibilities:

• Perform all duties in line with the Alpha Values of Accountability, Honesty, Loyalty, Respect & Trust

• Manage, lead, and develop a team of staff to the highest levels of performance and job satisfaction by developing their skills, knowledge, and behaviours

• Adhere to all legislative requirements and industry awards, pertaining to performance management, contractual, award rates, vehicle rental agreements etc while following company policy and procedures

• Undertake recruitment, onboarding, and training activities

• Ensure branch rostering is effective to meet demand, controlling costs (P&L), increasing sales, meeting targets and KPI’s

• Ensure compliance and workplace health & safety and operational risks and incidents are reported and managed effectively in accordance with policies and procedures

• Provide flexibility to assist across locations where required

• Ensure fleet integrity, including roadworthiness, fleet check accuracy, managing damage control and general maintenance tasks are completed.

About us

The Group is looking for an experienced Group Chief Financial Officer (GCFO) to maximise the synergies of the Group’s operations through costs, revenues and profits whilst achieving sustainable growth. Reporting directly to the Group’s Founder and Company Director and working closely with entity CEOs, CFOs, Business Leaders and external Financiers, the role will oversee the Group’s financials as well as strategic planning and involvement.

Role requirements

Permanent position on site at Brisbane (full-time or part-time for the right candidate). To be successful, you will be a qualified CFO and a driven and highly collaborative transformational leader with an extensive proven track record of creating value within fast growing and dynamic environments involving fleet, finance/funding, property, and shares. Must have experience in treasury and proven application of up-to-date technologies with advanced Microsoft Excel skills to transform data into usable insights.
