The Craft Extravaganza Mother's Day Fair
Located on Main Street for this weekend , 30 April-3 May, the Mount Tamborine Craft Extravaganza is a great day out and offers a chance to find those unique Mother's Day gifts for next weekend. The fair is held from 10am - 4pm every day and offers a wide selection of hand made crafts for sale. Mount Tamborine is a hub of artistic activity and some wonderful items can be picked up at the Fair.
For the more adventurous and the younger visitors to Mount Tambourine, Thunderbird Park is a beautiful wildlife and geological area, covering over 112 hectares on Tamborine Mountain. Activities include fossicking for gold, the largest ropes and adventure games' course in Australia, horse trails, laser skirmish, mini golf and more.
Tamborine Rainforest Skywalk
For a view from a different perspective, the Skywalk highlights the beauty and activity of the rainforest canopy. The walk is completely self-paced and takes approx 45 minutes to complete. There is even a butterfly lookout on the way and rock pools to explore.
