Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games [April 4-15]
Earlier this year, you learned about the history of the Commonwealth Games, come April 4-15, you will be cheering along with the rest of Australia for our athletes.
Some of the athletes to look forward to include Kyle Chalmers, Australia’s golden boy in the water. The 19-year-old swimmer became known after collecting a gold medal in the 100m freestyle event in the 2016 Olympic Games. Show him your support as he attempts to add some Commonwealth Game medals to his collection.
Polo in the Vines [April 7]
You’ve heard and probably played Water Polo, but have you seen actual Polo being played on the field? Now’s your chance! Polo in the Vines is Australia’s Urban Polo initiative. It’s the traditional game with a twist; faster gameplay, smaller field, more excitement.
Often played in the Gold Coast, this year, Polo in the Vines will be performed in the Hunter Valley region. Here, VIP guests can enjoy a six-course feast by celebrity chef Guillaume Brahimi, along with other entertainment including Fashions on the Field, Traditional Stomping of the Divots, and of course wine from the prestigious Hunter Valley region.
Special Olympics Australia [April 16-22]

Continuing to prove that everyone has a shot at success, the Special Olympics will be held from April 16-22 in Adelaide, is composed of 11 events with at least 1000 athletes competing in the sport of their choice.
The event includes athletics, basketball, bocce, bowling, equestrian, football, golf, gymnastics, sailing, swimming and tennis. Support these athletes as they represent their state.
FIM Asia Road Race Championship [April 19-22]
Earlier this year, the FIM Asia Road Racing Championship kicked off in Thailand last February. And now, Round 2 of the event is set on April 19-22.
Catch the first ever international motorcycle event to be held at The Bend Motorsports Park in Adelaide. It’s going to be a four-day superbike extravaganza that any motorcycle enthusiast will not want to miss.
