The Festival

Every year, the Byron Bay Bluesfest serenades the whole New South Wales with both latest and classical music. It is one of the biggest music festivals in Australia, and features both local and international artists. With over 200 performances from world-renowned artists, 7 stages to choose from, and 5 days of blissful music, fans will surely love the experience.

Bluesfest has been around since 1990, and is known for being socially responsible and giving to charities. The producers and organizers are all well-respected for creating ongoing employment and contracts for individuals and small businesses in the area. They make sure to contribute at least $20 million to the Northern Rivers region, and a whopping $40 million to the New South Wales economy every year.
Music, Food, and Shopping
The festival features over 100 food and market stalls, beer gardens, undercover food courts,and even entertainment for the kids. Over 100,000 visitors from all over the world visit the festival every year. Huge artists including John Mayer, John Legend, Bob Dylan, Hozier, Angus & Julia Stone has played for the festival before.

The lineup for this year is extra exciting, as artists such as Corinne Bailey Rae, The Lumineers, Mary J Blige, Patti Smith, Lucy Gallant, Santana, and a whole lot more are performing this April on Bluesfest’s stage. But hold your horses, people – they are not even done with the lineup announcements just yet! We’re excited to know who we’re going to see on April, are you?
Tickets
Tickets are selling like hotcakes, so you better grab yours now. Camping is allowed on the grounds, too, so if you want the full experience, make sure to grab some camping tickets as well. The camping area is located on the grassfields facing the Festival grounds, so you could listen to the music even when you’re exhausted and just want to lay down on your tent. Take advantage of the campground’s cafe -they serve sumptuous breakfast, coffee, milk, ice and the likes. They also have a laundry, toilet, and bath area – which is very convenient, if you ask us! You have to bring your own tent, some warm clothing, comfortable footwear, mozzie repellent, beddings, sunscreen, and other essentials to make your stay more comfortable.
