| I recently hired a car from you in Brisbane. I was impressed with the system you have adopted at the Airport. It saves hunting for a parked vehicle at unfamiliar Airport car park, and also the costs involved with Airport Parking. The Staff were great, the vehicle was clean and reliable, the inspection routine of the vehicle on pickup and return was good. | I would like to thank all of the staff at Alpha for the service provided during our recent short stay in the Gold Coast. Everyone that I dealt with either via email, phone or in person were very helpful and courteous. The vehicle (Hyundai Getz) was collected from GoldCoastAirport and thanks to the concise directions provided the keys were located and we were off in no time at all. The car was clean, economical (both in mileage and rental cost) and trouble free during our stay, we would have been lost without it! The drop off at Brisbane again proved trouble free and the ride from your offices to the airport departure terminal, a welcome surprise. The car was in great condition although I must say that the model is a gas guzzler. Would be great if you had a similar size SUV available which uses less gas. | A MESSAGE FROM A CUSTOMER WHO WISHES THEY HAD BOOKED WITH US!!! Just wanted to let you know I should have gone with you guys. Nightmare experience!!! I ordered a 5 door Getz which was the swinging decision – same price 5 doors as you guys. I turn up and it’s a 5 door Accent that’s about 10 years old. It smells revolting (smoke etc) and the steering wheel smells awful (petrol). The baby seat they gave me DIDN’T work!! I had to drive to the Gold Coast from Brisbane with my son in the backseat strapped in. I was panicking. I couldn’t call them to come and replace it.. The seat was filthy with food everywhere and was so old. It was an insult to put my son into. They also charged me $5 a day which I was told I wouldn’t be charged for. They charged me for the day I had the broken seat…. My poor mum had to take a bus home that night as I couldn’t drop her home as Alex didn’t have a car seat. Nice putting your mum on a bus at 10pm at night because the car seat doesn’t work. Overall shocking time and will never use that ‘unnamed’ rental car company again!!! But to our present surprise, the car we rented (small manual) was basically brand new and drove quite well and the service staff was very friendly over the phone, e-mail, and in person at Brisbane airport. | Our family used your company when we moved to Brisbane early in December and I have been so busy since settling in Christmas etc, it’s the first chance I have had to do this letter. You have a spectacular group of young men at your agency. They were so professional but friendly, I really admired the way they had “the nothing is too much trouble” attitude, it was genuine and they more than proved it. | We organised our rental car from Fiji online. That’s a great feeling of security to know someone will be waiting in Brisbane to pick you up and get you straight in to a vehicle. This time around we picked up our vehicle out of office hours; the vehicle was waiting for us in the car park with its keys in a secure box attached to the window. On the occasions I have used Alpha, hand over of the clean late model car is so easy as most of the paper work has been completed when the original booking was made. Then when returning, check in has been prompt & the transfer/courtesy vehicle is ready to take us to the airport. To date at no time have I felt that I was going to miss my flight.
