| I first checked out the website and found overall that the daily rate for car hire was much cheaper than anyone. The service received from the initial pickup from Tullamarine to your office was fantastic. Unfortunately for me I had a stupid women make a mistake and ran into the side of my hire car (not my fault) – I therefore had to contact the airport office and explain the dilemma – the staff there made me feel very comfortable, they put my mind at ease with the situation for which I was more than grateful. | As mentioned before, I was most impressed with your car rental service. First of all, your website is clear and easy to follow. It was also easy to contact you by phone and straight away know whether you had a rental car available and the cost involved. Second, your staff was very friendly and helpful. Also, I am sure Chris's fluent German will go a long way with German tourists! Third, the vehicle I was given (Hyundai Elantra) was superb: near new, clean and very comfortable to drive, with great radio, CD player and air conditioning. Fourth, what I appreciated most is that there were no additional fees to the daily rate (such as an administration fee, or a drop-off fee if different from the pick-up location, or GST). The daily car rental fee, multiplied by the days of hire, ended up to be the final fee payable - whereas a lot of other car rental firms add so many fees that the daily fee ends up a lot more than advertised. I also appreciated your prompt one day's discount after quoting another car rental firm which charged a slightly lower daily rental. Altogether, the service I received instilled confidence in me that your company treated customers honestly and fairly, and I would have no hesitation in recommending you to any of my friends. | Hi everyone, Just wanted to give you some feedback with regard to my recent rental just prior to Christmas. I thought you guys were fantastic – my initial enquiry was dealt with promptly and your staff over the phone went out of their way to make sure I had the best deal. I was initially hesitant to try a car rental company that wasn’t one of the “big brands” as I have always used either Avis or Hertz in the past but certainly you were able to not only match but even beat the lowest price quoted by the “big brands”! I was extremely happy. Then when we arrived in Brisbane you staff were quick to answer the phone to come and pick us up at the airport and I appreciated being able to fill in the details over the phone while I was waiting to be collected. This meant that the car and the paperwork were ready to go straight away (I love minimum delays!!!!!!!) Again, the drop off procedure on Boxing Day was smooth and quick and there was a bus waiting to take up straight to the airport. The drivers in both cases were great and very helpful with bags etc. On top of that we got a brand new car – only 16Kms on the clock – this was certainly not what I had expected from a “budget” provider as many friends had warned me to stay clear of these so called “budget” providers as their vehicles are generally old – not my experience at all!!!!!!!!! | We hired a Getz for 2 days to visit friends in Toowoomba. The car was great to drive and only had 13 km on the clock, we used it all weekend. When we dropped off the car we were immediately transferred to the airport in the courtesy air-conditioned bus in less time than having to find where we should drop a car at the airport and get to the terminal. | I found the service provided by all Alpha Car Hire staff to be very courteous and helpful. I initially had some minor issues with the vehicle rented, but this was also sorted very quickly and professionally. The web site is very user friendly, and the thing I appreciated most was the follow ups to my initial enquiry. You were able to supply the same car as the “big boys” of rental at almost half their cost – AND with identical insurance cover!! It is well worth the minor inconvenience of picking the car up away from the airport. | You should know that this is the second time I have used Alpha now, and we have had such good service on both occasions we will almost certainly use you again. Most of all we appreciate the no fuss, super fast service when dealing with the paperwork. | My experience with Alpha Car Hire was very positive. Initially I chose Alpha based on the very competitive price that was offered to me. It was the cheapest quote I received on a new car. I was concerned that being off site of the airports (I used Coolangatta and Brisbane) might have proven complicated and time consuming. However this was definitely not the case. Your offices are located very close to both these airports and pick up and drop off was prompt and hassle free. It was actually easier for me as I did not have to negotiate the very busy and confusing car parks and roads at the airport terminals. | We use rental cars for up to two weeks per month from April to December. This was the first time I have used an off airport rental car and I was pleasantly surprised at the experience. Pick up at the airport was efficient and faster than getting a rental car at the airport (where there is often a queue). The depot is close to the Gateway motorway so is very convenient and the car pick up was fast. The car was near new, in excellent condition with a full tank of gas. | What a great company. I was surfing the net for 'reasonably priced' car hire companies and came upon Alpha which was just starting up in Melbourne that very week. As I go to Melbourne on a regular basis, I decided to try Alpha as my previous experience with a car hire company was way over the top. With all the added extras (which were not advertised when I booked the car by the way!) it came in at $509.00. For exactly the same amount of time with Alpha it cost me $167-00. We were picked up from the airport and taken to your rental site which was about a 6 minute drive away. On our return we just drove to the site again and were taken right to the front door of the airport terminal. I will definitely use Alpha again and will also recommend them to all family and friends.
