I called at 9am to book a car and within 90 minutes was driving my rental away having recieved a great price and been picked up from my home and delivered to the rental center in the city. All the staff I dealth with were excellent but Bobby in particular was a real customer service star. Bobby was my driver to and from the rental center. He was very polite and friendly and provided excellent service including programming in the radio stations for me as I was traveling into NSW and providing clear and simple directions to get me out of the middle of Brisbane and onto the motorway going south. | I am one very satisfied "Alpha" customer ... from day 1 to the day 10. Your company's customer service has been fantastic. When enquiring and booking, Louise was a pleasure to deal with. She was patient and professional when giving me a range of options/vehicles etc. Unlike some of your competitors, she followed up with return phonecalls that weren't "pushy" but were helpful. Chris (Scottish) picked us up from the airport and was a delight to deal with .. good sense of appropriate humour. Your counter staff offered me the use of your internet to locate a particular Gold Coast art gallery. The Hyundai Elantra was spotlessly clean with low kilometres and was easy to drive. On return of the car, we thought we were running late for our flight book-in and Ricky immediately drove us to the airport in the Hyundai. He also demonstrated good and pleasant customer service. The staff at the Coolangatta depot were very friendly and helpful and even though they were rushed off their feet when we arrived and departed, they made sure we were not waiting too long and were very polite and courteous at all times. I actually arrived to collect my car 6 hours early (I had entered the wrong time on my booking) however the guys in the office were more than accommodating and found me another car. | Hi everyone, Just wanted to give you some feedback with regard to my recent rental just prior to Christmas. I thought you guys were fantastic – my initial enquiry was dealt with promptly and your staff over the phone went out of their way to make sure I had the best deal. I was initially hesitant to try a car rental company that wasn’t one of the “big brands” as I have always used either Avis or Hertz in the past but certainly you were able to not only match but even beat the lowest price quoted by the “big brands”! I was extremely happy. Then when we arrived in Brisbane you staff were quick to answer the phone to come and pick us up at the airport and I appreciated being able to fill in the details over the phone while I was waiting to be collected. This meant that the car and the paperwork were ready to go straight away (I love minimum delays!!!!!!!) Again, the drop off procedure on Boxing Day was smooth and quick and there was a bus waiting to take up straight to the airport. The drivers in both cases were great and very helpful with bags etc. On top of that we got a brand new car – only 16Kms on the clock – this was certainly not what I had expected from a “budget” provider as many friends had warned me to stay clear of these so called “budget” providers as their vehicles are generally old – not my experience at all!!!!!!!!! I will definitely rent with Alpha again EVERY time I travel to Brisbane. Thank you, I’ll definitely be telling all my friends!! Keep up the good work. After perusing website after website trying to find the best deal for car hire over the two weeks we were holidaying at the Gold Coast, we found Alpha Car Hire was not only the cheapest by far, but the service afforded to us was second to none. | We hired a Getz for 2 days to visit friends in Toowoomba. The car was great to drive and only had 13 km on the clock, we used it all weekend. When we dropped off the car we were immediately transferred to the airport in the courtesy air-conditioned bus in less time than having to find where we should drop a car at the airport and get to the terminal. | I found the service provided by all Alpha Car Hire staff to be very courteous and helpful. I initially had some minor issues with the vehicle rented, but this was also sorted very quickly and professionally. The web site is very user friendly, and the thing I appreciated most was the follow ups to my initial enquiry. You were able to supply the same car as the “big boys” of rental at almost half their cost – AND with identical insurance cover!! It is well worth the minor inconvenience of picking the car up away from the airport. | My experience with Alpha Car Hire was very positive. Initially I chose Alpha based on the very competitive price that was offered to me. It was the cheapest quote I received on a new car. I was concerned that being off site of the airports (I used Coolangatta and Brisbane) might have proven complicated and time consuming. However this was definitely not the case. Your offices are located very close to both these airports and pick up and drop off was prompt and hassle free. It was actually easier for me as I did not have to negotiate the very busy and confusing car parks and roads at the airport terminals. | We use rental cars for up to two weeks per month from April to December. This was the first time I have used an off airport rental car and I was pleasantly surprised at the experience. Pick up at the airport was efficient and faster than getting a rental car at the airport (where there is often a queue). The depot is close to the Gateway motorway so is very convenient and the car pick up was fast. The car was near new, in excellent condition with a full tank of gas. | What a great company. I was surfing the net for 'reasonably priced' car hire companies and came upon Alpha which was just starting up in Melbourne that very week. As I go to Melbourne on a regular basis, I decided to try Alpha as my previous experience with a car hire company was way over the top. With all the added extras (which were not advertised when I booked the car by the way!) it came in at $509.00. For exactly the same amount of time with Alpha it cost me $167-00. We were picked up from the airport and taken to your rental site which was about a 6 minute drive away. On our return we just drove to the site again and were taken right to the front door of the airport terminal. I will definitely use Alpha again and will also recommend them to all family and friends.
