Just a quick note to thank the team at Alpha Car Hire - Brisbane Airport. We recently had a family holiday to Australia and Alpha was suggested to us for car hire option by a number of our contacts. The service was fantastic with the transfer shuttle at the airport within 15mins of our arrival. All the staff were friendly and helpful and showed us around the car and described it condition (pointing out minor defects rather than making us hunt for them) and giving us a run down of the operation of the car and some of the local rules. Our return was also stress free (besides trying to find a local gas station to top up the car) and the staff processed our return quickly and had us back to the airport in plenty of time for our flight. My one suggestion to make it easier for clients returning the car would be to give the addresses of the nearest gas stations rather than a vague map as most clients will have have GPS units to make location faster. The issue we had was that the Shell station that was picked up by our GPS had recently been demolished to make way for the new roadway construction and as such we were tighter on time than we needed to be when we arrived at the offices. Kia ora, I'm from NZ and a first time rental car hirer so I was terrified at which company to choose! But the people at Alpha car hire made it so easy & stress-free for me. They followed up with a phone call once I had enquired online and offered specials like upgrades which worked out great for us - more value for $$$. Their was a NZ toll free number & the lady at the other end had a really friendly phone manner & gave me some good traffic advice about the highway which was most helpful for us as we were travelling up to the Sunshine coast. Loved the pink van that picked us up at the airport as it stood out from all the other rental companys too! The afternoon guys at Alpha were great & they got mum & I on the road straight away, even provided us a map book which became my lifeline to our travels. I am pleased to advise that our car hire in Melbourne from Aug 27 thru to Aug 31 was fantastic. The car was exactly what we asked for and the fee charged was absolutely reasonable. There was plenty of room in the boot for our luggage and my daughter's wheelchair.
I have recommended Alpha Car Hire to my family should they be looking at travelling to Australia in the near future.
The staff were helpful even before we left NZ and when we arrived into Melbourne Airport. Along with the cheap hireage of the GPS (which was absolutely necessary) we were off in no time to meet up with our family.

I found the service provided by all Alpha Car Hire staff to be very courteous and helpful. I initially had some minor issues with the vehicle rented, but this was also sorted very quickly and professionally.
The web site is very user friendly, and the thing I appreciated most was the follow ups to my initial enquiry. You were able to supply the same car as the “big boys” of rental at almost half their cost – AND with identical insurance cover!! It is well worth the minor inconvenience of picking the car up away from the airport.
In future I won’t be bothering to go anywhere else, as your company has treated me with the same professionalism I use with my own business customers.

In August 09 we rented a car from Alpha Car Hire for our holiday in QLD as we did last year.
And we have found Alpha to be great, cars are in good condition, rates are fantastic and staff are very pleasant to deal with.
We have noticed also there were on both occasions lot of couples and families hiring cars and people movers.
We have near heard any grumbles from any other person hiring a vehicle from Alpha. Especially on our last occasion in Brisbane the staff at the office were really great, there was this family dad, mum and five little children aged about seven down to 12 months.
Just imagine dad was inside with two children signing up for the car and mum was outside with the other three children running around trying all the cars for comfort and the staff were really nice to them and helpful.
Being a father of five boys myself I know how hard just to go shopping with five children let alone on a holiday.
Well done guy's, I would recommend Alpha Car Hire to anybody for holiday or corporate needs.

My experience with Alpha Car Hire was very positive. Initially I chose Alpha based on the very competitive price that was offered to me. It was the cheapest quote I received on a new car. I was concerned that being off site of the airports (I used Coolangatta and Brisbane) might have proven complicated and time consuming. However this was definitely not the case. Your offices are located very close to both these airports and pick up and drop off was prompt and hassle free. We use rental cars for up to two weeks per month from April to December. This was the first time I have used an off airport rental car and I was pleasantly surprised at the experience. Pick up at the airport was efficient and faster than getting a rental car at the airport (where there is often a queue). The depot is close to the Gateway motorway so is very convenient and the car pick up was fast. The car was near new, in excellent condition with a full tank of gas. Staff were courteous and efficient and I felt well looked after. I will use Alpha again.

What a great company. I was surfing the net for 'reasonably priced' car hire companies and came upon Alpha which was just starting up in Melbourne that very week. As I go to Melbourne on a regular basis, I decided to try Alpha as my previous experience with a car hire company was way over the top. With all the added extras (which were not advertised when I booked the car by the way!) it came in at $509.00. For exactly the same amount of time with Alpha it cost me $167-00. We were picked up from the airport and taken to your rental site which was about a 6 minute drive away. On our return we just drove to the site again and were taken right to the front door of the airport terminal. I will definitely use Alpha again and will also recommend them to all family and friends.

Hello Lovely Alpha Car Hire People,I would love to give you a brilliant endorsement for your company files. We were extremely impressed with the service provided by Alpha. I chose Alpha from the internet. I had emailed several other companies and got either absolutely no response , an extremely terse auto response or they took so long to reply that I'd forgotten who they were. Alpha on the other hand,had an extremely user friendly web-site coupled with fantastic , efficient , friendly, people -oriented service. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. They even helped me out with finding accomodation near the airport when I was stuck.My bookings were changed several times due to MY mess-up and no-one at Alpha was in the slightest bit perturbed about it. All of the staff we met at 2 different branches(Coolangata & Brisbane Airport) were friendly , helpful and polite .The vehicle we had was excellent for what we wanted. It was the size that was recommended to us by Alpha staff who clearly knew what they were talking about. The vehicle was in excellent condition and lived up to all it was advertised as. As far as value. Completely unbeatable. We looked into the cost of getting around by shuttles, trains, buses almost anything except camels and it was a much cheaper option to rent the vehicle from your company with of course the added convenience of not having to be tied to a timetable. (No one wants to be stuck on someone elses timetable on holiday.) We particularly loved the fact that what was given to us as quotes for vehicle hire had everything in it. There were NO hidden costs, No last-minute "Ops forgot to tell you about this fee". Alpha provided exactly what they advertised. I will definitely be recommending Alpha Car-Hire to anyone I know who is going to Brisbane or Gold Coast as an awesome hasslefree company. Thankyou for helping us have such an enjoyable hoilday. The car was in great condition although I must say that the model is a gas guzzler. Would be great if you had a similar size SUV available which uses less gas.

A MESSAGE FROM A CUSTOMER WHO WISHES THEY HAD BOOKED WITH US!!! Just wanted to let you know I should have gone with you guys. Nightmare experience!!! I ordered a 5 door Getz which was the swinging decision – same price 5 doors as you guys. I turn up and it’s a 5 door Accent that’s about 10 years old. It smells revolting (smoke etc) and the steering wheel smells awful (petrol). The baby seat they gave me DIDN’T work!! I had to drive to the Gold Coast from Brisbane with my son in the backseat strapped in. I was panicking. I couldn’t call them to come and replace it.. The seat was filthy with food everywhere and was so old. It was an insult to put my son into. They also charged me $5 a day which I was told I wouldn’t be charged for. They charged me for the day I had the broken seat…. My poor mum had to take a bus home that night as I couldn’t drop her home as Alex didn’t have a car seat. Nice putting your mum on a bus at 10pm at night because the car seat doesn’t work. Overall shocking time and will never use that ‘unnamed’ rental car company again!!! The car itself was comfortable to drive, we had no problems whatsoever. And there was just enough room for all the luggage, which was heaps. And costs were great when compared to other companies. I will definitely be recommending you to other travellers.

To recap, Due to unforseen circumstances I arrived 5 days early and from the Brisbane airport contacted your airport office at approx 0700 hrs to see if I could get the car early. I spoke to a male person there who was extremely helpful and arranged for me to be picked up straight away and taken to the office. A vehicle was arranged within about half an hour and I was on my way. Whilst waiting for the paperwork your male staff member had to deal with an rather difficult customer on the phone and I must say he was extremely professional. He should be congratulated and recognised for his efforts.
The vehicle was excellent (it had a couple of dents however was supposed to be in the panel beaters on the Monday but your staff made alternative arrangements to allow me to be underway) Had no trouble with the vehicle during the 2 weeks of hire.
All your staff I dealt with should be congratulated on their customer service and when I do come back to Queensland I will certainly be utilising your company. From my own experiences customer service is something lacking in our businesses now and if you keep providing this type of service I am sure you will reap the rewards.

My family and I hired a car during our stay in Brisbane, May 26, 2007 to May 30, 2007 and June 1, 2007 to June 8, 2007 . We were extremely please with the entire experience we encountered with the Alpha staff. Our car was still available after we arrived a day late due to our flight from Los Angeles being canceled. After we arrived back in the states we discovered Alpha had left a message stating they knew our flight had been canceled and did we still need the rental. We showed up a day late and there was no problem getting the car we reserved even though we had no way of contacting them. Everyone was fast, efficient, courteous and friendly. I was nervous about someone driving us to and from the airport. However, I felt extremely safe with the driver driving my husband, my 2 small children and myself. On our second rental we hired a GPS system which in the end was a big help getting around the city. We received a great rate on the GPS and will nevere drive without one when on vacation. I was concerned about not going with a company we were famailiar with in the US, such as Avis or Budget. However, Alpha provided us with the best rental service we have ever had.

Thankyou very much for your car hire. My mother is very sick in hospital and its’ been a hard time for us all and distance across the Tasman doesn’t help. So here is my feedback on your service.
I found you through the web through goggle. Previously the past 3 trips over I had gone with TransTasman car hire… done through Flight centre… but every time I was always left waiting in arrivals for a long period for the rep to turn up. Sometimes up to 40+ mins. When you have a very sick mother this doesn’t really go down well… I had a talk with another firm at the airport who recognised me waiting the 3rd time and they gave me their business card GOT 2 Go car hire. When investigating they didn’t have cars available and I found you! Lucky find.. however the speed with the enquiry and replies to emails impressed me and your compassion to being flexible with pickup and drop off encouraged me and therefore I am more than thrilled to receive this email and make a repeat booking for July. The Hyundai Getz was superb automatic and fitted the bill just fine as long journeys are not part of my hospital requirements and the compact size made it easy to park. It was great value and your team person was fantastic at getting me off from arrivals quickly with the paperwork completed. You have my vote and repeat trade.

I would like to say thank you all very much, we found your Company to be very honest,upfront and very obliging, nothing was a problem, all questions were answered without any fuss. We would also recommend the hire of your TomTom GPS system as this was our first time driving in Qld it was a blessing to have use of such a tool at a very reasonable rate. I have friends who are coming in August on my recommendation they are utilising your buisness, (I have passed on my free day hire to them) I also talked them into hiring a GPS.
